What is Perfect Margarita?

As with the classical recipe, this is a summer drink, and is a widely popular cocktail in America.

“Perfect,” when it comes to cocktails, refers to a drink that has equal parts dry and sweet. It is definitely doesn't refer to the same kind of perfect your significant other or parents say you are, or maybe it is the same kind of perfect, in which case I’ll drink to that.

It definitely comes with a definite personality, and is one of the classical forms of the margarita. Tequila is the main ingredient for a perfect margarita, and Blanco tequila is often used in mixing the drink as it is the purest and most classical form of tequila. It is not a rested product, and is also known as silver tequila. In the perfect variation of the recipe, tequila is blended with fresh lime, triple sec, orange juice, superfine sugar and ice. Like the classical case, coarse salt used on the rim of the glass to give it a unique taste.

  • 2 oz of 100% Agaved Blanco tequila or silver tequila
  • ¾ oz triple sec
  • Orange juice
  • 1 oz of fresh lime
  • 1 tsp of simple syrup with 1:1 ratio of sugar and water

How do you make a perfect margarita?

  1. Filled plate with the coarse salt.
  2. The Rim of the glass should be moistened with water or fresh lime juice.
  3. Dip the coarse salt on it.
  4. Glass should be filled with ice.
  5. Put some silver or Blanco tequila in the martini shaker.
  6. 1 ounce of fresh lime juices, 1 ½ teaspoon of superfine sugar, ½ ounce of orange liquor should go with the tequila.
  7. Then shake it heavily for few minutes.
  8. You should add ice in the martini shaker in order to make the drink chilled.
  9. Pour the liquid in the glass,

10.Garnish the glass with lemon wedges.

To make the drinks in a much bigger quantity, add 12 ounces of tequila, 3 tablespoons of superfine sugar and 3 ounces of orange liquor in the martini shaker with the ice. The upwards scaled recipe serves up to 6 people, and should be enjoyed in excellent company, as with any other cocktail.
